Tarot as a Muse is a fund raiser for Ink People Center for the Arts, conceived by Kathryne DeLorme, Carolyn Ayres and Libby Maynard. Each artist chose their card sight unseen from the 22 Majors, so one can say that the card chose them. Each artist then received a Tarot reading about why this archetype chose them and then took their "muse" back to their respective studios to see what would emerge. In July of 2012 there was an exhibition of all 22 paintings.
The cards are oversized ( 6.75 inches x 4.5 inches ).
The backs have a reversible, black and white pattern. Strength is 8, Justice is 11. The cards came in a red paper envelope accompanied by a 28 page explamatory booklet.
